Baby Bliss
While weddings are our forte here at Bridal Bliss, we also plan several other events including corporate functions, birthday parties and bridal showers. We also plan baby showers…and my dear friends and fellow BRIDAL BLISS team member KATY and Heather threw a shower for me that was one for the books!
Katy & Heather originally planned the shower with a “ready to pop” theme. However, my baby boy Gavin decided to show up two months early (!!!) and unfortunately the party had to be cancelled. Instead the girls planned a “Sip n’ See” for a smaller group of industry friends to be able to meet my little man and enjoy some food and drinks at one of our favorite venues, THE FOUNDRY.
This event was no ordinary shower. Katy & Heather took the details to a whole new level with adorable invites by CRAVE DESIGN, a yummy spread by FOOD IN BLOOM CATERING, darling dessert display, delicious cake by DREAM CAKES, gorgeous flowers by ZEST, an awesome lounge and rentals from OHANA & PARTY PLACE and even a cotton candy station from FAIRY FLOSS…all captured by BEN POWERS. My friends know me well…I have a ridiculous sweet tooth!
One of my favorite details was a fun activity that guests were invited to participate in. 26 blank wood blocks were prepared and guests were asked to choose one letter of the alphabet, and decorate a block that letter. Gavin now has a complete set of alphabet blocks and they are all personalized by my friends. What a clever idea!
We had a wonderful time and I loved introducing Gavin to so many friends. Thanks again Heather & Katy!
