Enora + Stan

One of my favorite things about this job, is when a client’s vision comes to life in the most fantastic way. I met Enora and Stan last February when they were getting started with their panning for their wedding in July at The Sentinel. Enora was so organized (which I LOVE) and her and Stan were both so enthusiastic about all of the details, the feel of the evening, and most of all, each other. Fast forward to July 28th, it was an unbelievably gorgeous day here in Portland, and all hands were on deck to make sure Enora and Stan’s big day was everything they had worked to so hard for.

The morning started out with hair and makeup by Makeup by Whit and Thairapy PDX, at Hotel de Lux in SW Portland. Once the ladies were all ready to go, the bridal party headed to a secret gem of a location for the bride and groom’s first look. Lexxi Smith Photography flew in from Utah just for this perfect day.

Back at The Sentinel, vendors were busy creating the perfect look for the couple. There are so many amazing spaces at the Sentinel, and we were all lucky to use three separate rooms for this event.

For the ceremony, we were in the Renaissance Room. For the Love of Flower pulled out all of the stops for the amazing backdrop that would frame the couple as they said their vows. Bridegwood Event Rentals helped to ordain the aisle with gold lanterns to accent the color scheme.

Once the bride made it down the aisle in her stunning dress from A&Be Bridal, Father Yell was ready to make things official.

Guests transitioned down to The Library for cocktail hour. Live music was being played by John Ross Music, while they were treated to specialty his and hers cocktails, and delicious nibbles from Jake's Catering.

Once the bride and groom got a sneak peek at their reception space, it was time to invite the party upstairs. Prior to entering the Grand Ballroom for dinner, the couple stationed their unique guest book in the entry way for people to sign. It was a small replica of the love bridge in Paris, France. Each guests signed a note on a lock, and then attached it to a small grid that Enora and Stan can hang on their wall.

After grabbing their custom escort “keys”, with calligraphy by Old City Mailroom, the reception doors were open, and everyone could make their way to their seats. What a stunner this room turned out to be!

Between the hand drawn table numbers from Old City Mailroom, vintage gold votive holders from Bridgewood Event Rentals, and the custom dyed table runners and Mustard-toned centerpieces from For the Love of Floral, this was one for the books!

After dinner and toasts, guests were treated to a plethora of delicious treats from Lux Sucre, and photo booth favors from HappyMatic, before they danced the night away to music from John Ross Music. Oh and to top it all off, Jake's catering busted out a custom Poutine station for late night snacks..... Yes POUTINE!

Enora and Stan are the kind of people I love meeting. They are happy, creative, fun and in love! There is zero doubt in my mind that every person at their wedding felt the same way.

Enora and Stan, thank you for having me as a part of your amazing wedding day! I wish you a lifetime of love, laughter and all of the amazing food you can get :)
