Bryn + Matthew
When I met Bryn and Matt I was super excited because all of my big city dreams were about to come true right in the heart of Portland. Bryn, originally from PDX, and Matt, New York, decided to mash the two states together and have a New York Black Tie Affair right in the heart of Portland. The couple wanted a modern and classy feel with a touch of industrial, and they achieved it using The Evergreen as their venue.
Guests arrived and were seated in aisles drenched in dreamy candlelight provided by Bella Bloom Floral. After a sweet ceremony, marble bistro tables and cozy lounge areas by Classic Vintage Rentals awaited guests for cocktail hour. With a quick flip of the space, guests were then invited to find their seats amongst more dreamy candlelight and Kate Spade-esque stripped linen draped over wooden farm tables.
The night was filled with unique and fun details. Read unique and fun details as: the Bartenders wore 1990's Blazer Jerseys, the ring bearers carried ring briefcases and wore patent leather nikes, and the groom surprised everyone, even his bride, with a surprise guest - the Yeti. The couple also cut into Voodoo Donuts that displayed their initials BB + MM, which was the perfect Portland touch.
This night could not have been more perfect for this classy New York couple. Bryan and Matt, thank you for letting us help with your special day. We wish you years of happiness.
