Megan + Jack

Jack & Megan are two of the best people. I have had the privilege of knowing Jack (and his family) pretty much my entire life as he has been good friends with my younger brother since Kindergarten. They went on to High School together at Seattle Prep where Jack met Megan. Megan has a glowing personality and contagious smile - which captured Jack early on. They played it cool as friends for a few years, but finally gave in and have been together since. When you meet these two, it clicks. They truly are meant to be together. They are both down to earth, hard workers and value every person in their life. Planning their wedding was truly an honor.

We dove into planning two days of events. Jack & Megan wanted to get married in the backyard of Megan's grandmothers house. They loved the idea of getting married in the gardens, walking barefoot on the grass and saying "I do" at the same place Megan's parents were married many years ago.

We planned a fun Spanish inspired night for their families and bridal party on Friday. It included amazing music from Rio Con Brio, a Spanish themed menu from Paella Works, craft cocktails from Perfect Pour and a sweet ending with pies from Yippie Pie Yay

The following day, we planned a large reception at AXIS Pioneer Square. They couple had a quick vow renewal - but kept it lighthearted and fun. The ceremony felt personal as they selected upbeat music and had everyone dancing down the aisle to kick off the ceremony.

Guests knew immediately they were in store for a fun night. From there guests were treated to delicious drinks & appetizers from City Catering while we worked to flip the room for dinner. Fun note - Jack owns Aslan Brewing, so the beer was of course amazing!

The room was designed perfectly. Crimson Haze strung cafe lights over the dinner tables, which were adorned with hanging greenery by Eleanor from Bash & Bloom

Everything was bright, cheerful and full of life - just like Megan & Jack. Following dinner Megan & Jack cut into an amazing 5 tier blackberry cake from Sweetside then hit the dance floor. Yogoman kept the dance floor pack spinning vinyls into the night.

Favorite details included the seed packet escort card display, the strategic placement of the cake in the art gallery (how fun!), and Jack's amazing lion shirt. What a weekend and what a pleasure to plan with this amazing couple!
