Lauren + Peter

Along with many other couples in 2020, Lauren and Peter made the decision to postpone their wedding to 2021 and they were so easy- going through the whole process. They adapted and made new plans to have their celebration at Georgetown Ballroom. During our planning process, we met on Zoom to get all of the new plans in order and I feel so honored that I was able to help make their day extra special.

It is always an amazing thing when you get to work with couples who are down to earth. Not only could I tell that they were completely in love, it was also clear that they were the best of friends. Their happiness and love radiated throughout the day, and was shared with their closest friends and family.

Georgetown Ballroom was the perfect venue for their big day! The environment was warm and inviting and the ceremony went flawlessly in the ballroom. Guests were able to connect and enjoy the courtyard during cocktail hour on the gorgeous day that we had. The most memorable part of the day was when the couple made their entrance for dinner. You could tell that they were having a blast with their dance and laughter - enjoying every moment together.

Guests enjoyed dinner by Georgetown Ballroom, and there was the perfect balance of humor and sentiment in the toasts by the couples family and friends. The couple chose jewel tones for their theme and had the most gorgeous cake from Cakes of Paradise that fit with their tropical vibe.

Even with all of the pandemic safety measures, the sweet couple and their guests were completely taken care of and felt safe throughout the day. The day was full of gratitude, celebration, and most of all - Love. I am honored to be a part of their journey and special day.

XOXO, Frannie
