Gabbi + Matt
Gabbi and Matt were the loveliest of clients, and I knew from the very first meeting how fun this one would be! They met in undergrad at Stanford, and like any great relationship, started off as friends. They love to travel and spend their time outdoors (Matt has hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, and Gabbi a portion of it), so a Central Oregon wedding was a complete no-brainer!
The sprawling mountain range served as the most stunning ceremony backdrop. The only thing that could compete was the floral installations by the talented Roots Wild! Guests enjoyed glasses of Lambrusco as they took their seats, and the couple’s friend Robert, who had seen their relationship blossom from the start, performed the most heartfelt ceremony.
Guests then made their way to cocktail hour and were greeted by the coolest of cool photo booths: a VW Photo Bus! Complete with mask props of the couple’s beloved cat Ziggy, of course.The wow factor continued as guests entered Brasada’s Barn for dinner. Guests grabbed their custom “Camp G + M” escort card keychains, and then were greeted by any nature-lover’s dream! The room was decked out floor to ceiling in florals, greenery, and mossy accents, with jaw-dropping installations on the stone fireplace and greenery chandeliers above. (Shout out to O’Brien Events and Roots Wild for making this vision come to life!)
A family-style dinner was enjoyed by all, as well as the most genuine toasts given by family and friends. There wasn’t a dry eye in the room! After sneaking away for some must-have sunset photos (have you seen those Central Oregon sunsets?), the couple and their guests danced the night away under the lights - outside and in view of their favorite mountain range.
Gabbi and Matt, your love and care for each other is inspiring, and I wish you the happiest life together! I was honored to be included in this magical celebration!
