Maddie + Kasey
Planning weddings is an amazing experience, but to plan a wedding with a friend and co-worker is nothing short of wonderful! When I was asked to coordinate the wedding for Maddie and Kasey, I couldn’t say yes quick enough! Maddie and I met through Bridal Bliss, and she is one of the sweetest people I know! I knew that her wedding to Kasey was going to be perfect.
The wedding day could not have landed on a more gorgeous summer day at Butler Barn. We were starting to plan a back-up for rain, but the sun pulled through perfectly. The couple decided to forgo a first look, choosing to see each other for the first time as Maddie walked down the aisle. Kasey’s reaction to seeing his bride was priceless!
After the heartfelt ceremony, guests mingled in cocktail hour while the newlyweds took photos. The reception was beautifully set with Maddie’s rustic-theme coming to life perfectly. Two bookcases were used for the escort display, which included small vases of flowers with each guest’s name and table number!
Round tables were set with candles and greenery while personal touches of signage and photos filled the barn. A tall donut wall and large display of desserts made guest’s tummies happy at the end of the evening.
The night went off without a hitch! So glad that I could be there along the way to see your vision come to life and celebrate a beautiful couple. Congratulations, you two!
