Pantone Colors of the Year 2021
As lifelong lovers of neutrals and blush tones we can honestly say after what has been a less than bright 2020, we could not be more excited for Pantone's newly released colors of the year: Illuminating Yellow and Ultimate Grey (we even get two of them!).
Grey has forever been a favorite of ours, one that works well in many aspects of the wedding. We style it in everything from paper goods (letterpress + grey...swoon!), to bridesmaid dresses, to table linens. You really can't go wrong here! In 2021 we are looking forward to it providing a base for other highly anticipated shades like pale blue, dusty violet, and of course its partner in crime - Illuminating Yellow.
While Ultimate Grey has been coined as the 'stable foundation' our hope is that Illuminating brings us all light after a long eventless season. We can't wait to see this cheery color provide the 'pop' that we talk about with our couples - how fun would it be as an envelope liner, the ribbon wrapped around a soft blush bouquet, or subtly present in a printed napkin - not to mention the flowers!
We are so excited about the endless possibilities of these two. This duo is said to represent the 'light at the end of a tunnel' and we are here for it. Bring on 2021!
