Madeline + Colin

Madeline + Colin---what a couple.  These two were fresh out of college, full of excitement for their future together and possess such a sweet love that is hard to even describe. It was a family affair working with Madi, Colin, both sets of parents and siblings and we truly had a great time! So much so that I'm sad it is over.  The wedding was one for the books with a barrage of fabulous details from start to finish. The wedding party began photos at the bride's parent's gorgeous home and with the threat of rain it kept us on our toes! However, the immaculately manicured grounds and beautiful group made for the perfect setting.  Madi started with a first look with her dad, and then another with Colin.  The photos are so touching.

Guests were greeted to the ceremony at St. Patrick Catholic Church with lush floral garlands and the largest altar floral arrangements I have seen.  They were striking to say the least, and certainly set the tone!  After a meaningful ceremony presided over by Father Ganz, a family friend, all 285 guests made their way to Portland Art Museum in hosted shuttles.

As they entered the cocktail hour in the Sunken Ballroom, they were amazed by a massive four sided bar adorned with a large ice vase topped with a centerpiece, as well as a raw bar displayed on an ice display.  It began our evening with such a festive atmosphere!

Once guests had a chance to mingle, we ushered everyone upstairs into the beautiful Grand Ballroom.    The room was adorned with hanging floral chandeliers, beautiful uplighting and pin-spotting, drool-worthy centerpieces and the most beautiful linens and chic chairs.  It was jaw-dropping and listening to guests' reactions (especially Madi + Colin's!) was so much fun.

The reception started off with the Father of the Bride announcing the couple who then toasted their guests, and were absolutely beaming.  With heartfelt and hysterical toasts, delicious dessert by Dream Cakes, top of the line service by Art of Catering, phones charged at our Power Bar and a dance floor filled by the talented crew at Precious Byrd, it was truly a night to remember. Congrats Madi + Colin! It was such a pleasure getting to know you and your families!
