Paje + Adam

Assisting Paje and Adam with coordinating their travel-themed wedding could not have been more fun.  Sharing with Paje a passion for travel, a wide experience of living abroad, and a love for our Scottish heritage made for an instant connection. Until their wedding day, the last time in recent memory that I had heard so many different languages and accents was in the departure lounge at Charles De Gaulle airport!  It was so fun!!

Hand fasting and signing of the marriage license took place during the ceremony, according to Scottish tradition.  For the reception, a vintage suitcase held cards, a map of the world showed guests the way to their assigned tables -- each of which was named for a city -- place cards were luggage tags, and floral centerpieces were set atop stacks of books tied with tartan sashes.   In the elegant Grand Ballroom, it was perfect.

As the revelry got underway, Paje and Adam led Ceilidh (β€œkay-lee”) Dances and their guests thoroughly enjoyed participating in the traditions of stealing kisses from the bride whenever the groom left the room and all the other customary heckling.  A night to remember, and undoubtedly a party to travel across the globe for!  Congratulations again, Paje and Adam!
