May + Adam

May + Adam were so great to work with! They were both very laid back but knew they wanted a great experience for their guests attending their wedding, since majority of them were not from the area.

With a venue like The Foundry, they were already showcasing the beauty Oregon had to offer.

Their ceremony was held on the pavilion under a floral filled arch created by Seventh Stem.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the back patio from Devil's Food with Event Team Entertainment playing a mix of Arabic and American music, blending the two cultures that both Adam and May's family represented.

Guests enjoyed a delicious Middle Eastern inspired meal, sitting at tables with soft grey linens, gold flatware accents and beautiful white floral.

With a cake from Dream Cakes and an epic dance party, the night couldn't have been better!

Thank you May + Adam for allowing me to be a part of your enchanted evening!!

Kasey + Chris

Kasey & Chris we so much fun to plan with! Their friends and family provided so much help and support, it was obvious how much this couple is loved! Their ceremony was held at the Roher Park Amphitheater overlooking the water while they stood under a custom built arch made by the bride's uncle. Inside The Foundry as we set up for the reception, the room was filled with helpers that executed Kasey's vision of sparkle lights, gorgeous floral and her love for all things hexagon! The toasts from their wedding party were some of the best I have ever heard, not to mention DJ Dev From Above spinning beats that led to some amazing dance moves! Guests left with hexagon shaped jars of honey reading "Meant to Bee!" Congrats!

Kelly + Mike | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography

Mike and Kelly’s wedding couldn’t have been more fun if they had tried!  These high school sweethearts were married in a lovely Catholic ceremony and then held their reception at THE FOUNDRY AT OSWEGO POINTE, beautifully decorated with flowers by BELLA BLOOM FLORALS.  Stormy skies threatened rain but couldn’t dampen the party spirit, and provided a dramatic backdrop for photographs!  Guests were regaled with a lavish buffet by FOOD IN BLOOM, with SALT & STRAW ice-cream in “his and her” flavors and creative cakes from BEAVERTON BAKERY for dessert!  The groom’s cake was decorated as a true to Mike-size Nike athletic shoe, in a nod to Mike’s famous athletic prowess on the football field (recognize him from the Carolina Panthers??).  Heartfelt speeches from the bride and groom’s siblings and parents had everyone tearing up, but there was no shortage of silliness and smiles at the photo booth by PAPARAZZI TONIGHT!  DJ Hess had everyone on the dance floor having so much fun that we extended the party into the early hours of the morning!  Without doubt a fantastic night to remember.  Congratulations to The Remmers and to KIRSTEN for pulling off a perfect event! | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography | Portland Wedding | Oregon Event Planning and Design | Powers Studios Photography

Baby Bliss | Portland Baby Shower Planner | Oregon Event Design | Powers Studios

While weddings are our forte here at Bridal Bliss, we also plan several other events including corporate functions, birthday parties and bridal showers. We also plan baby showers…and  my dear friends and fellow BRIDAL BLISS team member KATY and Heather threw a shower for me that was one for the books!

Katy & Heather originally planned the shower with a “ready to pop” theme.  However, my baby boy Gavin decided to show up two months early (!!!) and unfortunately the party had to be cancelled.  Instead the girls planned a “Sip n’ See” for a smaller group of industry friends to be able to meet my little man and enjoy some food and drinks at one of our favorite venues, THE FOUNDRY.

This event was no ordinary shower.  Katy & Heather took the details to a whole new level with adorable invites by CRAVE DESIGN, a yummy spread by FOOD IN BLOOM CATERING, darling dessert display, delicious cake by DREAM CAKES, gorgeous flowers by ZEST, an awesome lounge and rentals from OHANA & PARTY PLACE and even a cotton candy station from FAIRY FLOSS…all captured by BEN POWERS.  My friends know me well…I have a ridiculous sweet tooth!

One of my favorite details was a fun activity that guests were invited to participate in.  26 blank wood blocks were prepared and guests were asked to choose one letter of the alphabet, and decorate a block that letter.  Gavin now has a complete set of alphabet blocks and they are all personalized by my friends.  What a clever idea!

We had a wonderful time and I loved introducing Gavin to so many friends.  Thanks again Heather & Katy!
